What do you do when you have to design Christmas stamps in July? Get in the Christmas spirit, of course! For the past month or so, I’ve been listening to Christmas music and drinking hot chocolate while designing my brand new Christmas stamp collection for STAMPAVIE.
I know it seems awfully early to start thinking about Christmas, but that’s how things work in the stamp world. A lot of stampers and crafters (many of you!) like to get a head start on their Christmas cards and crafts so we need to get our new designs out to stores asap :o) Personally, I LOVE Christmas and can’t complain about getting hit with a bit of festive cheer this time of year! Feel free to pop on over to STAMPAVIE to view the full collection.
Let me know which ones are your favs!

This is all I need! :o) Click here to rate this illustration.
I created this illustration for my little boy’s nursery room. I’ve had a couple people request I post my nursery illustrations for sale at my ImageKind store. So if you’re interested, you can purchase a print of this illustration here.
Once I get a few more things together in his room, I’ll post a few photos of what it looks like. It’s coming along so beautifully – I can’t wait to show you!

Funny how I thought I’d be posting so much more now that I don’t work at my full time job? Well I’m actually busier than ever! It’s definitely a good thing but I miss talking to all of you on my blog!! I love reading all your comments and visiting your blogs. But I can’t really say that I’m complaining that I have a lot of wonderful work :o) There isn’t much I can show you right now but in the next few months, I’m hoping to make some posts on what I’ve been up to!
I try my best to keep up with all my favorite blogs. One blog that I discovered not too long ago is Gustavo Pinela’s. He’s my inspiration pick for this week! I love reading his blog because it’s full of delightful illustrations. He has such a playful, fun, and emotional style that really catches my attention. He often posts about his process or projects he’s working on. He’s made all kinds of wonderful products with his illustrations – from mug designs to calendars – the guy has so much going for him! Take a few minutes to check out his amazing blog. It’s not in originally English but there is a translation option on the right side.
I’m hoping to be back with another submission for Illustration Friday this Friday! Hope you’re having a great week :o)

When I was little, I LOVED sour candies… especially Sour Patch Kids. Mmmm… actually I STILL love them :o) I think we’re going to see more little boys in my illustration work now that I have a little boy growing inside me! Hope you like it! Click here to rate this illustration.
