New Banner Image: ‘My Little Bundle’

With the weather getting cooler and the holidays approaching, I thought it’d be a great time to freshen up my blog! I’ve entitled this banner illustration ‘My Little Bundle’ - it was very inspired by the fact that I’m having a little bundle of my own in just a few short weeks! I love the holidays and the crisp, cool weather so I’m very excited for the coming months where I can snuggle up with my little one during this holiday season.

You can download this image (for free) as a desktop wallpaper - I’ve designed several different size versions that you can access on my store page. I’ve also added this image to my ImageKind store, where you can purchase it on a greeting card or as an art print.

Hope you like it! Click here to give it a rating.

Card Designs at CocoCards

A little project I just recently completed on the side are some card designs for a company in the UK, CocoCards. We’ve just done a few to start - I designed a girl’s birthday invitation and two baby announcements (one for a boy and one for a girl) Click here to view one of the designs on the website!

Cococards offers a stylish modern collection of high quality stationery. Sending personalised cards is a thoughtful and personal way of sharing your special moments with friends and family. Our range includes traditional birth announcements, photo birth announcements, baby shower invites, christening and naming ceremony invites, and children’s birthday party invitations. To add a final layer of personalisation, we let you choose from a range of hand-finished touches including ribbons, buttons, and lined envelopes. These complement your chosen design to make your message truly special.”

It’s such a sophisticated and high quality company with many great designs. Hopefully you can take a couple seconds to check out the site and let me know what you think! Hope you’re all having a great week :o)

Unlikely Friends: ‘Starry Night’

Thank you for all your suggestions on what these little guys should get up to in the next couple drawings! I now have a lot of ideas to work from - the creative juices are flowing!

I felt too guilty trying to tie this into this week’s Illustration Friday topic of ‘Sugary’! I don’t think I can make that big of a stretch! lol Here is the completed version of my second (in a series of four) of Unlikely Friends, entitled ‘Starry Night’. I’m hoping to continue the trend of having a sketch completed one week and having it coloured the next. Let me know what you think of this week’s illustration! Click here to rate it!

My mom is arriving all the way from Australia tonight to help us with the baby for the next 3 months! I’m soooo excited to see her as I haven’t seen her in two years! There’s only a month left until my due date so there’s a lot to get done before my little one makes an appearance. I’m hoping to keep up with my blog as much as possible during these busy times but please bare with me if I disappear here and there! I’ll be making lots of adjustments to my schedule now and in the future, but I’ll be sure to keep you posted on how everything is going!
