Animals of the World

Published in: Illustration

I’ve had this project on my to-do list for quite some time. I was inspired to finish it thanks to a client who requested a world map :) I played with a bit of texture on my illustrations for this piece. I wanted the whole thing to look a bit painterly. What do you think? I’m also open to suggestions for the title. I’d be happy to hear your ideas!

  1. All of Your illustrations are great! But this project is wonderfull. Those animal are so adorable and sweet. I thin that every child would be hapy to have it! I like the tittle also. You are so talented! Congratulations!

  2. What a cool idea! Love the execution, and the animals are so cute. I love that you put a snowman in there

  3. I love this map! It is educational and good enough to have up as art too. I think it would look fabulous in any child’s room or playroom…where/when can I get one for my kiddos?

  4. Thanks ladies!

Jennie – I will have it available in my Etsy store when I return to Canada in June :) Thanks for the interest!

  5. This is awesome Rachelle! Looks like my two kids will be sharing a room this September (!!) so I’m thinking this could be a fun piece in a shared room. Love the snowman too! Can’t zoom in but is it a platypus for NZ? Very cute. A kiwi bird would be fun too as the national (inescapable) icon! :)

  6. Thanks Sheri! Yes there’s a platypus for NZ :) A kiwi bird would have been great too! …and a congrats must be in order??? Very exciting!!

  7. It’s so cute! But the elephants don’t live in Russia :))))
