Canvas Art for Kids
Published in: Design, Illustration, Link, Portfolio
I love designing products for children’s rooms. I LOVED decorating Isaac’s room and am already planning his toddler room! I was recently contacted by Goodnite Moon Kids to do this very kind of work – yay! We’re in the midst of creating lots of fun designs. I’m working on kid’s canvas prints, clock designs, growth charts, and even dishware. Goodnite Moon Kids sells many of their products to big name stores like Rosenberry Rooms. I’m very excited about this new working relationship and am looking forward to posting some more of the work I’m designing for them.
This is one of the my favorite canvas prints so far – The Ballerina. In order to bring the canvases to life, I’ve worked in some fun backgrounds. Many of my current portfolio pieces are on white backgrounds so it’s been really interesting to add another dimension to my work.
I’d love to hear your feedback :)

Oh, I love this little ballerina. And your background is fantastic with all of the hearts and dots and swirls. Congratulations on your new endeavor with Goodnight Moon Kids.

Have fun with your new business venture. This design is beautiful. Children will love it, but not as much as their mommy’s do. Reminds me of what I used to do while playing pretend. Beautiful. And the background looks great, good complimentary tones, doesn’t take away from the main elements, looks great!

Your ballerina is soooooo cute, I love her frilly tutu little toys and her jewlery box beside her. The background is a little on the busy side but when toddlers are playing at dressing up etc. the space around them is usually busy too, As they tend to leave things around them and move back and forward between their activities. Good luck with your new line of designs. Keep up the good work and hugs to little Issac too. He is a luck boy to have such a talented Mummy. I’m sure his toddler room will be fantastic.
Warmest bes wishes.
