For those of you wondering if I’m still producing any work over here, well the answer is yes, a little bit :) I just finished working on a couple of album cover designs for a very talented pianist. She will soon be releasing a couple children’s CDs and I’ll be posting my illustrations and a link to her albums once they’re released. I’m now tackling my own logo and website redesign along with attempting to produce some new work for my licensing agent!
I’ve posted below some alphabet prints that I’m hoping to complete over the next few weeks. I’d like to sell them as individual prints but also combine them in a larger piece …or work with the elements in a pattern for licensing – I’ve got a lot of pent up creativity from not drawing for so long :) I’m thinking these prints could be personalized as well. I know a lot of Etsy shoppers love to purchase personalized items and I think these would be adorable in a nursery. I’d love to hear your feedback on them!

I’m popping on to post this little sketch I did today and to wish you a happy and meaningful Easter. I’m a bit excited about this illustration as I used a couple new brushes in Photoshop that really sped up my process and actually made it much more enjoyable – always a great discovery!
I’ve noticed my work has become tighter over time. I think this realization has become more prominent after taking some time off from drawing. Taking a break has given me the opportunity to reflect upon my work past and present and reflect on the evolution of my drawings. One of my favorite things about drawing is being light and carefree. I want to try to get back to some lighter, easier, freer lines with less thought and more intuition. I’m hoping to start releasing some new work soon with a lighter, freer feel. I’m also working on a new logo and website.. lots on the go! I’m excited for the update but still lots of work to do.
Thanks for stopping by :)

I have an excited little three year old that doesn’t fail to ask me everyday if it’s Christmas yet… I’m looking forward to the morning when I can say yes and set him loose on his Christmas gifts! With the bit of free time I’ve had over the past few days, I’ve tried to capture the wonder of my two little boys as they gaze upon our Christmas tree :)
This is just a little note to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year! I don’t have many New Year’s resolutions but one thing I want to work on next year is to write and illustrate my own children’s book. I have the idea in my head… I just need to get it down on paper :) I know time is limited with two kiddos at home, so I want to keep my goal simple, but I think this one is achievable!
Happy Holidays everyone!

The Christmas tree is up and the stockings are hung! I will try to post some photos soon :) In the meantime, here is one of my favorite pieces – the Animal Alphabet. I’ve added some coordinating pieces to compliment this design in order to make it more appealing for licensing. I can see this set working well as gift wrap! Hope you all enjoy your week :)
