For those of you that follow my blog, you’ve heard me mention Graphic Spaces before. They are a wonderful family-run company that creates amazing cuteness out of wood! I bought a couple of their bookends to decorate Elijah’s nursery - so sweet! They have just recently released a whole range of brand new products in their store just in time for Christmas – and are having a sale to celebrate. Everything is 15% starting tomorrow until Monday. I know a lot of you that read my blog love their stuff so I didn’t want you to miss out on their sale :) Happy shopping!

Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever resurface on my blog now that I’m juggling two little ones …but I seem to have a free moment right now so I’m going to take advantage of it :) We have finally achieved a bit of a sleep rhythm with our now 2 month old and it’s giving me a bit more down time. Yay!
I don’t have any new work to show just yet but I really wanted to share some beautiful birthday card designs that were created by Danielle over at Paper Inspirations. She used my ‘Birthday Parade‘ stamp design to create two very different (but equally cute and fun!) card designs. I love the colour palettes in both of them and all her wonderful attention to detail!
Hope to be posting some new work soon!

My good friend Melissa offered to do another round of maternity photos before baby #2 arrives. She took some photos of my growing belly at 27 weeks and I posted them here. Her work is beautiful and creative and I’m so happy with the results! She put an artistic twist on the editing of these photos which I adore. She even managed to capture some great shots of Isaac – which is impressive all in itself! Check out her blog, Melissa Kew Photography, to view the full collection :)

Applies to orders over $50.00 Order one small thing, one big thing, lots of things or a couple – It is $10 off! Promo Code: save10
BébéBoo is not paying or sponsoring me to link to their store. I simply like to promote great Canadian businesses that might interest my readers (especially those businesses that carry my art :)
On a more personal note, I am almost 37 weeks pregnant and very close to welcoming our new bundle of joy! We are planning a home birth this time around. Isaac was born very quickly and easily so I’m hoping all goes just as well with #2. I am looking forward to experiencing this incredible miracle in the comfort of our home. I’ll be sure to make a blog post about my experience after he is born!

With ice dripping from the roof, wet slush soaking the roads, and cold snow covering all the swing sets for kids, what’s a parent to do to keep an active toddler busy during the winter months? Well for us, I make sure Isaac is signed up for his fair share of classes and playgroups! It also doesn’t hurt to have some quality toys around the house to keep his mind active and creative.
I recently bought Isaac a wooden play kitchen from Wayfair and am slowly gathering some play food and accessories together so he can let his pretend play skills soar! With the help of Wayfair, I’m going to be reviewing some play food from their website. I’ve been debating between getting food from Melissa & Doug or Plan Toys. Plan Toys food costs more, but their design is sometimes better. I am going to review the cutting fruit & vegetable trays from both companies and post the pros and cons about each set. I’m hoping to discover whether or not it’s worth paying that little extra for Plan Toys food.
Look for this review to come in the next couple weeks!
