Happy Halloween!

Wondering what Halloween is like in Australia? Well it’s not much at all actually. Australians don’t really celebrate the holiday. I’ve been told that it depends a bit on your neighbourhood but unfortunately there are no pumpkins or goolish decor to be seen around our parts. I didn’t want to get the boys too excited so we decided not to get costumes or a pumpkin this year. I wasn’t sure whether anyone in our neighbourhood would be receptive to two little boys asking for treats, and I didn’t want to disappoint them. We bought a bit of candy just in case anyone came by our house, but there certainly weren’t lots of cutely dressed kiddos walking the streets as I’m sure there will be back in Canada!
I thought I would revisit some old artwork for this post as I haven’t had the time to create anything new. Our container full of furniture, toys, clothes, and all my drawing equipment arrived last week so we have finally set up our home! This means that new artwork will be coming soon! I’m sooo excited to start creating again :) I’d also like to try to get my Etsy store back up and running before the holidays, but I’m still working on sourcing packaging supplies from local stores. I will keep you posted once the store is back up and running.
In the meantime, for everyone that celebrates it, have a happy Halloween :)
