Illustration Friday: The Kite was ‘Swept’ Away!

Here is this week’s submission for Illustration Friday. I’m enjoying experimenting with different colour palettes and backgrounds. I’ve fallen in love with the website www.colourlovers.com. I’m having fun browsing through the different colour palettes and opening my mind to new combos that I wouldn’t typically use.

Although this is a very girly print, we’re all boy in this house! I think my next illustration will be one for my boys ;) Speaking of my two little ones, I’m sooo happy to finally have my evenings back now that both kiddies are tucked in bed by 6:30pm. Yay for bedtime routines! I’m enjoying my free time and taking the chance to do what I love – draw!

I have been a fan of your wonderful whimsy illustrations for ages now. I have two girls and I feel that my little boy misses out of boyish feel for art and craft also. will look forward to your next illo.
