Meet Matilda, My Speckled Friend!
Crystal Driedger has been organising a fundraiser for her local humane society in Edmonton. You can read more about the fundraiser on Crystal’s blog. A few months ago she mentioned she was looking for artists to contribute artwork to be auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the humane society. I am a HUGE animal lover and wanted to help her out!
Each artist involved is to pick an animal that is currently at the shelter and make a beautiful painting of that animal. I chose Matilda, the speckled bunny. The goal of the fundraiser is to raise money for the shelter (of course) but also to hopefully find these cute little animals a happy home. I really hope someone adopts my little speckled friend!
This is my submissions that will be auctioned off at the fundraiser. It will be printed at 8×10 on high quality, archival, watercolour paper. Let me know what you think!

I think Samsung is very lucky to have you as his artistic advocate.
Wish I could adopt him. My Golden Retriever would not be happy though!
