New Business Cards
I always have the absolute hardest time designing for myself! I’ve been playing around with new business card ideas for a while now and can’t seem to settle on anything. I want something clean, simple, fun, and of course, representative of my style. I thought I might get some feedback from all of your before I drive myself crazy! Let me know what you think of this design. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

I adore them! It might be cool if you did them in different color waves too. Maybe a red, a blue and another bird color. :O)
Meaning three different colored business cards. Not all on one card! I always think those are neat.

I love these…you may want to put on your card..something about a different style and have the little bird that is different..well, a different color..
Because your style is so different…it is adorable..and I can already pick your artwork out from others..
That is what I would do.

This business card is Lovely!!…..
The only thing I might do is add a touch of a red wash on a few of the front ends of the wings…very little as to not draw the focus off your name…otherwise nothing.

This’s card is so funny, I love the idea. But I’m not sure about the colors… is so cold, Maybe I’ll look some warmer colors. Just an idea.

Love the business cards. I think they are quite unique and catchy. Making them two-sided was a brilliant idea!
Remember a business card is a form of advertisement. If you can achieve at creating a card which will stick out and be remembered then you have succeeded in creating a good card!

Cute and so you! I love the front/back idea and that you used the birds. I’m no expert, but I was definitely drawn to it, I love it the way it is.

Cards are lovely! I think, there could be other colors too, little red, little brown in the birds.
Many greetings from Finland.

The design is very pretty. My suggetion could be ad some more colour in the bird or use a warmer colour and I miss your swirly frame. Just like you did on the banner on this page.
Good luck with the design, Bye Mascha.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I agree that the cards need some more color - thanks for all your ideas. I’m going to play with the illustration a bit and see if I can warm it up a bit. I’ll keep you posted!

Absolutely adorable! This is definitely a card i would keep! :-) And i do think that’s the idea.
If you don’t mind me saying, and i do think i’m far too picky, but shouldn’t the bending-over bird be #3 from the LEFT on the back of the card? My brain wants the back picture to actually be the back of the ’same’ picture that is on the front. Hehe. *shakes head* I know. It’s just me.
I think you’ve done a fabulous job with this new card. It’s art in itself! :-)

Amberjoon - you are so right! I don’t think my brain was thinking right when I did it. Thanks for catching that - I’ll definitely have to change it.
Thanks for the great comment!

Oh! Forgot to mention I like how you make each birds tummy a different pattern. What a precious personal touch.

Well, I think it is very cute, clever and whimsical. I do think it represents your style very well. I know what you mean, though…I have a hard time with my business cards, too.

Hi R, I’m a “hmmm” on this one - I think it needs more colour, and I’d prefer a few different little characters…although I LOVE the humour! bx

p.s. My friend and I are sitting here in a cafe trying to get some work done for school, but your illustrations are so cute, we can’t stop looking at them. They’re giving us a good little chuckle! They’re so cute!
