NEW Stamp Angel Policy!

Rachelle Anne Miller stamps, produced by STAMPAVIE now have an Angel Policy!

This policy is intended for stampers who love to craft and want to make some extra money on the side by selling the cards they produce with my designs. In order to continue to protect my rights as an artist but also allow a bit more freedom for you, there are a few guides to follow with this new policy (see below). I hope that by doing this, it’ll allow many of you to continue creating beautiful cards and perhaps even earn a little extra cash on the side :o)

The following restrictions apply to our Angel Policy:

1. Each project should be crafted by the individual and must be hand stamped.

2. Any artwork created using Rachelle Anne Miller designs must not infringe third-party copyrighted material. The artist must accept full responsibility for his or her artwork.

3. Electronic, mechanical, freehand, or graphic reproduction (such as scanning or photocopying) is strictly prohibited.

4. A maximum of 100 hand-stamped items is permitted.

5. Credit for the stamped images and ©Rachelle Anne Miller by STAMPAVIE must appear on the back of your items.

6. Rachelle Anne Miller or STAMPAVIE may amend its policies governing the use of its copyrighted designs and images, including the Angel Policy, at any time. Amendments to such policies are effective upon publication unless otherwise noted and will be posted on the official Rachelle Anne Miller or STAMPAVIE website. We reserves the right to deny or terminate permission to use Rachelle Anne Miller designs and images with respect to any particular person.

I think your new policy is very generous on your part. You still maintain some control, while allowing people who purchase the stamps to make a small amount of money, if they are able to sell some of their creative endeavors.
How sweet of you to make this change. Your art is so very creative and fun!
    I Love Your Work!!!

Rachelle, how interesting and brave. I think I clutch too hard at my work but it’s only a matter of time before this was likely to happen for you with a majority of your clients being stamp companies, no? I wonder if it was a hard choice to make? Then again, I can see how happy it makes the purchasers of your stamps. When a company requests one of your designs to be turned into an angel stamp, do they compensate you more? Anyway, good luck always Rachelle and to all the stampers who read her blog - happy crafting!

Crystal - Thanks for your comment. It’s definitely not easy letting go of your work but I figure that the artists making the cards with my stamps are putting their own creative/personal touches on it by colouring the stamp and using decorations, that it becomes their work as well. I’m actually working exclusively for one stamp company at the moment but we felt it was the right decision. It wasn’t too difficult of a decision seeing as I’ve put some guidelines in place - as long as no one is mass reproducing my images, I don’t see the harm in it :o) Thanks again!

    Hi Rachelle,

Thank you for allowing this. I’ve finally bought some of your stamps (3 unmounted) and though we know what the images are like it’s still a thrill to see them when we stamp them. Theyr’e all such beautiful designs.

That´s wonderful news! I love your beautiful stamps but I never ever buy stamps that doesn´t allow me to sell a few cards, but now I´m gonna make an order for my favorite ones immediately :)

This is a very generous offer on your part. I adore your images and am happy to know I can sell a card made using one, should I want to. Thank you. Hugs Linda x
