Happy birthday to my sweet, funny, feisty, cuddly, and sensitive little girl. You have added so much to our family! I can’t even begin to describe the sheer joy you bring me. I don’t think you’ll ever truly understand this until you have a daughter of your own. After growing up with three brothers and having two sons of my own, you could not of been more welcomed and adored! Our family is perfectly complete with you. We all love you so much.
I love how much you admire your brothers and follow them around the house, wishing you could do everything they do. You love books, frozen blueberries, swinging, picking out your shoes, and seeing Isaac for the first time after a long day at school. You love stuffies and always end up in Isaac’s room, raiding his ever growing collection. You have the best hair, the cutest smile, and the brightest eyes…we will always be your biggest fans! Your brothers love you so much and they will always be there to protect and stand up for you.
I have always wanted a daughter and because of you, my heart is complete. Your daddy and I love you so much little miss sunshine.. and hope that you enjoy your special day tomorrow!

I have some pretty exciting news to share with you! I’ve certainly been MIA over the past few months, but that’s due in part to this sweet little peanut (who I can’t believe is turning 1 in just over a month)! I’m sharing the results of an amazing collaboration that I was honoured to be a part of. Over the past year, I’ve been working closely with Deepy Sleepy to develop this beautiful, high quality, 100% organic line of baby bedding. I’ve been working on these designs for a while so it’s very rewarding to finally see the final products. There are three main designs with a few interchangeable options for sheeting. The product is made to order and customizable. This would be such a precious investment and keepsake for any lucky baby!

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted! I haven’t completely given up on this blog so please do check in every once in a while, but things have definitely slowed down over here. I think having a third little bundle might have something to do with it… ;)
Isla is 7 months now and she completes our family in a way I can’t describe! But just so you know, having three kids is a LOT more work than 2 (in our family anyway). Little Isla won’t be taking any back seat to her brothers and she’s made that clear! She loves a lot of attention and keeping busy.. which means, mommy can’t do as much work as she expected! I plan to take an indefinite amount of time off. This means (sadly), that my Etsy store may not be open for a while and that I won’t be posting too much new artwork on here. Having said that, if there is a print that you’ve been dying to have and you’ve been patiently waiting for my store to open, please contact me directly and I can figure something out for you. I am not giving up on my art, just keeping my priorities straight and focusing on my family while my littles are just so young.
Having said all this, I couldn’t let my Christmas card slide! I adore this time of year and love making a personal Christmas card. This year was so exception and I’ve posted my design below. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season with family and friends! Cherish each moment as it’s the simplest things in life that bring so much joy :) Merry Christmas!

I adored playing with dolls when I was a little girl, so as soon as I found out I was having my own little girl, I knew I wanted to get her a very special one. I wanted to get her one that she would treasure and keep for years. So after discovering Little Noel, I knew I needed to have a sweet Waldorf doll made for her. I made a special request for the doll to be based off the little girl in my butterfly illustration. This illustration hangs prominently in Isla’s room and much of her decor is based off of it. The doll is gorgeous and completes the room beautifully! I am so happy to have this precious little doll for Isla! Thanks so much Debbie :)

Yes I’m still here and things are going well! I’ve been very busy with our latest addition (this sweet little pumpkin above) and juggling two active boys on summer holidays. I haven’t had the chance to post anything in a while… Isla is already 3 months old and is just about the sweetest thing I could ask for :) I’m keeping the boys busy with lots of visits to splash parks, farms, friends, beaches, camps, and so much more. I’m starting to slowly take on a few illustration projects and am thinking of reopening my Etsy store soon. Thanks for bearing with me!
I wanted to post a photo of some work I completed last year. I designed a line of baby nursery decor for Roman. The collection includes a snowglobe, musical, 2 frames, a cross, and nightlight. This was my first experience designing this kind of thing and I really enjoyed the process. I was able to view the items from concept all through the completion. It’s amazing to see the final product! That’s all for now! Happy summer :)
