Hi everyone! For this Christmas card I let myself be inspired by the colors in the pattern paper. I love how it is not entirely traditional colors, but a slight variation on it. As a focal point, I used the cute penguins from the Christmas Penguins Scene Creator from Rachelle Anne Miller.
First I printed the Christmas Penguins scene on Perfect Colouring paper and colored it in with my Copic markers.
- Penguins: C9, C7, C5, BG72, R30, YR07, N1, N0
- Scarf: BG78, BG75, BG72, W6
- Reds: R22, R24, R29
- Stars: E42, Y18, Y13
- Tree: YG03, YG13, YG17, G28, BG93, BG96
- Shading on floor: C3, C1, C0
After coloring, I die cut the scene with the MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX1 die-namics. To mat the scene, I used pattern paper from the Into The Woods paper pack, and Perfectly Plaid paper pack from Lawn Fawn. From the same pattern paper from Into the Woods, I die cut stars in various sizes to decorate the scene a bit more. As a final touch, I added a few highlights with a white gel pen.
I hope you like this card and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
