Hey friends, can you believe that December is here already? RAM Stamps has a new release out today, and I’m sharing some inspiration with one of the new images, Mr & Mrs Clause.
I printed my image on to Transotype Perfect Colouring paper, and coloured it with Copics:
Santa suit and hat: R29, R24, R22, W3, W0
Santa face: E11, E51, E50, R20
Santa boots and belt: BV29, BV25
Santa beard and hair: W5, W3, W0
Mrs Claus dress: RV17, RV14, RV13, W0
Mrs Claus face: E51, E50, R20
Mrs Claus hair: W3, W0
Mrs Claus tights: R24
Mrs Claus boots: BV29, BV25
Sack: E33, E31
I added highlights with white gel pen, then fussy cut my image with my favourite precision scissors.
For my background, I ink blended an A2 panel of card with blue distress oxides – speckled egg, faded jeans and chipped sapphire. I then die cut a rounded rectangle shape from the Heffy Doodle 3D box dies into another A2 panel, and glued this over the ink blending, using tape runner.
I stamped my sentiment from MFT’s Gingerbread Greetings stamp set underneath the die cut area, then added Mr & Mrs Claus with foam squares. To finish, I added some stars with my white gel pen.
