Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of a new Digital Stamp called Giraffe Hug, one of the adorable illustrations from the upcoming Rachelle Anne Miller October Release.
To begin, I printed the Giraffe Hug image with my inkjet printer on Copic friendly card stock, after resizing it a bit to better fit my card front. Once the image dried, I colored the adorable characters with Copic Markers, adding some details with a white gel pen to complete the look. Then, I carefully fussy cut the image with my precision scissors.
I adhered a patterned paper strip on a card front and added a die cut scalloped vellum rectangle as a background, to provide the perfect pop of interest.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of yellow card stock and mounted it on my card front along with the colored image, creating a super sweet winter themed card.
Working with digital stamps is fun and so easy! Once purchased, you will receive or download the black and white digital image (a high-resolution PNG) immediately. Then you can resize or flip the image before printing it out on your favorite card stock and start creating!
