Hi everyone! When I saw the new Little Pumpkin digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller, I got very excited to turn it into an interactive card. It did involve some slight adjustment which I did in Procreate, but it wasn’t too hard to do, and I absolutely love the result!
When you get this digital stamp, it is one stamp. But to be able to turn it into an interactive card, I had to separate the bear from the pumpkin. To achieve this, I used Procreate on my iPad. After I separated the bear and pumpkin, I printed them out on Perfect Colouring paper. After printing, I colored the images with my Copic markers.
- Bear: E77, E74, E71, E70, E000, E00, W2, W0
- Pumpkin: E99, YR24, Y26, Y21
- Greens: YG91, YG93, YG95, BG96, BG93
I fussy cut the image with Cutter Bee scissors, leaving a white border. Then I had a look where I wanted the image to on the card. To make the white background less harsh, I ink blended Distress Oxide Pumice Stone on the background, and also added some splatters. The panel I die cut with a Blanket Stitch die, which creates a nice frame.
On the place where I wanted the bear to move up and down, I die cut a slit with the Let’s Toast Pull Tab Add-On from Lawn Fawn. I also used that die set to create the rest of the pull tab mechanism. To make sure the bear wouldn’t catch on the pumpkin, I popped up the pumpkin with foam tape.
As card base I used Spiffy Speckles papers, and I framed the main scene with Fall Fling pattern paper from Lawn Fawn which really compliments the colors on the card. For the sentiment I used Scripted Greetings from Pinkfresh Studio, which I die cut from Spiffy Speckles and Ground Coffee cardstock.
