Happy Friday, everyone! Phew, what a week it’s been! I’m so excited for the weekend – do you have any nice plans?
Today, I’m sharing a card I made with the Penguin & Snowman: Santa Snowman digital stamp from this month’s RAM Stamps release. I also wanted to use one of the new digital papers from the Snowy Christmas digital paper pack on the bottom half of my card, so I chose Copic colours for my image that would co-ordinate.
I started by adding some of the checked paper to the bottom of an A2 white panel, then ran it through my die-cutting machine with the MFT Stamps stitched rectangle dies, to give the edge a lovely stitched border.
Above the digital paper, I ink blended some tumbled glass ink, and then added a row of houses die-cut from white card using this die. I cut a half inch strip of dark blue card (my favourite – Midnight by Concord & 9th), and heat embossed “Merry Christmas” from Taylored Expression’s Winter Wishes stamp set, using bright white embossing powder to the right hand side. I glued this below my row of houses.
The Copic colours I used were:
Penguin: BV29, BV25, BV23. Antlers: E44, E42, E41
Sack: E44, E43, E42, E41 and B00, B01, B02
Squirrel: E31, E53, E51
Scarf and hat: R22, R20, R01
Snowman: BG000, C1, C3
Carrot nose: Y26, Y23
I then fussy cut my snowman and his friends, and added it to the card with foam squares.
I love the soft colours on this one – I hope you do, too! Have a lovely, crafty weekend, and see you soon!
