Quilting with Fox by Jayne

Hey friends, how are you? I feel like I’m so behind with cardmaking and blogging these days! But thankfully, I did grab some creative time this week, and made a couple of cards using RAM Stamps‘ new release, which is all about being creative!

My card for today features the “Quilting with Fox” digital stamp. I coloured him with Copics (with white gel pen accents) and used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut him out. For my background, I used Concord and 9th’s quilted cover plate die, and rounded two of the corners. I added the background to some dark teal cardstock (also C9), then adhered my fox with foam squares.

I heat embossed my sentiment (from a Concord and 9th turnabout stamp) on to black cardstock, and fussy cut, before adding it to the card with liquid glue. To finish, I added a few dew drops around the sentiment.

The Copic colours used were:

Fox: E09, YR27, YR24, Y12, Y20

White shading: C3, C0

Turquoise fabric: BG10, BG23, BG57

Brown fabric: E09, E43, E42

Boots: G28, G24

Squirrel: E23, E25, E27
