Hello crafty friends and welcome back to my card corner, thank you for stopping by. I am delighted to be back with another design team post for RAM Stamps. Today I will be using the super sweet Balloon Ride digital stamp. Do you use digital stamps? Let’s get started on today’s card…..
I started of by creating all of the backgrounds. I trimmed a rectangle of 80lb white cardstock to measure 3.5 x 5.5 inches and ink blending a cloudy sky using the MFT Stamps Rolling Clouds stencil and Distress Oxide Ink in Kitsch Flamingo and stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment. I then trimmed some white and dark pink pieces using a scalloped edge die. I glued all of the pieces together and added them to a top folding card base.
I moved on to the image which I downloaded and printed using my Canon Pixma printer. I coloured the image using Copic Markers and fussy cut. For this image I have used the following colour combinations –
R85, 83, 81, 30, Y15, 13, 11, BG45, 23, 10, E57, 55, 53, 51, 21, 51, 50, W4, 2, 0, 00.
Lastly, I added the image to card base using foam tape and that completes the card for today.
