Have you finished your Halloween crafting yet? If not, there’s still time! Today, I’m sharing this bee-eautiful card made with a digital stamp from RAM Stamps.
To start out, I ink blended a honeycomb pattern on to my card panel, using the Sweet Honeycomb stencil by Time for Tea Designs. I used blender brushes to apply Fossilized Amber and Wild Honey distress oxides, fading the ink blending out towards the edges. I trimmed my panel to 5″ x 3.75″ and matted it on to a black, A2 card base.
I coloured the “Bee Yourself” digital stamp with Copic markers, then added gel pen accents, before fussy cutting around the images using my precision cutting scissors. I added foam squares to the back of the images, and popped them up on to the card panel.
For the sentiment, I trimmed a rectangle around the sentiment that comes with the digital image, then added a small amount of Fossilized Amber ink around the edge, before gluing it to my card.
For the final touch, I added some gold sequins.
I hope you like today’s card – Halloween doesn’t always have to be spooky, right? I hope to see you again soon!
