Hi everyone! As you may know by now, I am a big fan of all the Bunny & Guinea stamps from Rachelle Anne Miller. For this Christmas Gift stamp I had the perfect matching pattern paper in my stash.
First I printed Bunny and Guinea: Christmas Gift on Perfect Colouring paper. If you would like to know how I resize digital stamps and create scenes, you can watch this video on my YouTube channel. After printing, I colored the image with my Copic markers.
- Bunny: W2, W0, E00, E000, R000
- Guinea pig: W6, W4, W2, W0, E00, E000, R000
- Reds: R35, R32, R30
- Tree: BG02, B00, B000, YG63, YG61
When you see the colors for the tree, you may be confused what I did there. I wanted the color of the tree to match with the pattern paper. But since I did not have Copics which matched that color, I layered blues and greens on top of each other to get that color. So if you ever need a color which you don’t have in your stash, see if you can create it yourself!
Once I colored the image, I die cut the scene with a stitched rectangle die. On the cardbase I adhered pattern paper from the Snow Day Remix paper pack and popped up the scene for some dimension.
As a finishing touch, I added Stickles Frosted Lace to the Christmas hat and star, plus I added silver stars to the background.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
