Hi friends! Today I am sharing a shaker tag I made from the Bunny & Guinea: Christmas collection illustrated by Rachelle Anne Miller, which will be released this Thursday, June 23. This adorable digital stamp from the collection is called Bunny & Guinea: Snowman.
To make this tag, I went through my collections of tag dies and selected Pinkfresh Studio’s Essential Tag Dies. This die is one of my favorites to use when I want to make a shaker tag. I placed the die on white cardstock and cut it out with my die-cutting machine. Then I placed one of the window dies on the tag and cut out a window. I measured the width and height of the window opening and resized the stamp in Adobe Photoshop to fit the window. I printed it and cut it with my Brother ScanNCut. Next, I colored the image with the following alcohol markers:
Bunny: W1, W0, W00, R00, R20 (Copic)
Hat/Scarf: PB10, BG68, BG4 (Ohuhu)
Snowman: BG0000, C00, YR07, YR04, Y01, R00, R20 (Copic)
Guinea: E55, E53, E50 (Copic)
I cut out a piece of acetate to cover the window opening on the tag and glued it into place. Then I placed foam tape around the edge of the window and tag and filled the space with sequins, confetti, snowflakes, and seed beads. I cut another tag without the window out of patterned paper from Lawn Fawn’s Let it Shine 6×6 Petite Paper Pack and used this to close off the other tag. To finish the tag, I glued the image down, added a bit of snow below the image with a marker, and tied some ribbon through the opening.
This project came together pretty quickly and was so much fun to make! I hope you give it a try! – Mona
