Hi crafty friends, It’s great to have you back visiting the blog again today. Today I am back doing a simple, yet sweet card for RAM Stamps ( Rachelle Anne Miller) using the Love Birds digital stamp. This stamp is clean and simple and yet adorable at the same time and even though it’s call Love Birds, it can be used in many different ways, not just for love.
So I started off by sizing and printing the image onto Neenah 80lb white cardstock and coloured with copic markers. Once the colouring was dry I added white gel pen highlights to some of the images. For today’s card I have used the following colour combinations:
Pinks – R89, R85, R83, R81
Teals – BG49, BG45, BG01
Greens – G02, G00, G000,
Yellows – Y17, Y15, Y11
Greys – C7, C5
R27
Once all the colouring was finished I die cut the image using the Lawn Fawn Reverse Stitched Scalloped Square Windows die. I then die cut some Cotton Candy cardstock from MFT Stamps using the same die. I cut and scored another panel of the Cotton Candy cardstock to create a square card base. The pink outline frame was glued onto the card base and then I followed with the white coloured piece. (Remember to keep the opposite pieces of the die cutting to use on another card).
Once the card was put together I stamped the sentiment from the Well, Hello stamp from MFT Stamps onto Audrey Blue cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the image with white pigment ink rather than embossing ink, I find I get a much cleaner impressions of the sentiment. I covered with white embossing powder from Hero Arts. I heat set until melted. I trimmed the sentiment strip and popped it up onto the card base with foam tape.
That completes the card for today. I hope you loved the card as much as I do. Be sure to head over t the RAM Stamps shop and have a look at the other adorable stamps that are available.
Thanks again for visiting……..
