Hey guys, how are you? Do you make Halloween cards? I love them! This month’s Rachelle Anne Miller release is full of spooky (but cute) images, and some adorable co-ordinating papers, and I’ve used both on today’s card!
I coloured up the Peek-A-Boo Racoon stamp using Copic markers and fussy cut it with my favourite fussy cutting scissors (these: Cutter Bee Scissors ). I then cut out the racoon’s face from the top of the scene and set it to one side to use on the slider mechanism.
I used the Heffy Doodle Mini Double Slider Dies to create my pop-up feature – for a tutorial on how to make the pop-up slider, see here. I attached the slider mechanism to the reverse of the pumpkins, so that when the tab was pulled / fully extended, the racoon’s face would be popped up above the pumpkin. On the tab itself, I added the word “pull” from MFT Stamps “Interactive Label” stamps.
For my background, I used one of the new digital patterned papers from RAM, which I die cut with the Pink & Main stitched rectangle dies, and adhered it to a landscape A2 card base. I attached my slider scene to the card base with foam tape, then added the Peek A Boo sentiment above with liquid glue.
