Hi crafty friends and thank you for stopping by to visit my little card corner. Today is my wedding anniversary – many, many years!! I don’t usually give my handmade cards to my immediate family – why, I don’t know. But this year I thought I would change this habit. So I have made today’s card for my husband and it was a reminder to me to not underestimate how much a handmade card is appreciated by the recipient. My husband loved this card and more importantly, the time, effort and I care to make it for him. So let’s get started on today’s card.
I started off by getting all of the die cutting out the way first. I made a card base to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches using 110lb cardstock. I then cut a panel of The Stamp Market Blossom cardstock to measure slightly smaller and then a piece of MFT Stamps Tiny Check Brights patterned paper slightly smaller again. Finally I cut a piece of 80lb white cardstock and die cut the Mama Elephant Arches die. I backed this panel with vellum and then adhered all of the panels to the card base.
I printed the Bunny Love digital stamp using my normal office printer onto Neenah 80lb cardstock and coloured with Copic markers. Once completely dry, I fussy cut the image. I die cut a small piece of mint green cardstock using the MFT Stamps Slimline Grassy Hills Die-namics. I trimmed this down to fit inside the arch. I then die cut some small hearts with the same Blossom cardstock as I used for the panel.
I glued all the pieces into place on the vellum. I then die cut the MFT Stamps Loopy Love Die-namics three times in red cardstock, glued them all together and added to the front of the card.
That completes the card for today. I encourage you to head over the RAM Stamps online store and check out this and many other gorgeous digital stamps. I hope your day is filled with love.
Thanks again for visiting xx
