Garden Friends Scene Creator by Miriam

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to my card corner. Thank you so much for stopping by – I really appreciate each of you!! Today I am delighted to be back with another design team post for RAM Stamps. It’s a bright, sunny day here in Melbourne and even though it’s autumn I could resist creating a spring time card with these adorable friends from the Garden Friends digital stamp. So let’s get started on today’s card…..

I started off by getting all the die cutting done. I I die cut the MFT Stamps Stitched High/Low Strip Cover-Up Die-Namics using 80lb white cardstock. I ink blended some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink on to the loose piece and also onto the edge of a white panel that is slightly bigger than the frame. I added the panel to a top folding card base and then added the frame using foam tape. On the small rectangle piece stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment using ink from MFT Stamps. I then die cut two pieces from the MFT Stamps Grassy Fields and ink blending some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink. Lastly I glued the loose pieces and the grass into place with liquid glue, ensuring that the grass was only glued along the bottom.

I moved onto the images, which I downloaded and printed on my Canon Pixma – no special printed needed. I coloured the images with Copic Markers and added which gel pen highlights. I then fussy cut the images. For the colouring I have used the following Copic Markers – \

Y38, 35, 17, 11, R85, 83, 81, 30, G02, 00, BG15,23, 10, W4, 2, 0, 00, E44, 43, 42, 41, 57, 55, 53, 31, 51.

I added all of the pieces into place, tucking some behind the grass. For the sun, I placed in it position, without adhering it, then added te lines with a black fine liner and then added the sun with foam tape.

That completes the card for today. I hope you like it as much as I do. To have a look at this digital stamp and many other adorable images, head over to the RAM Stamps website.

Thanks again for visiting…… xx
