Hi crafty friends and welcome back to my card corner once again. Thank you for your support and for the lovely comments I receive, it really does mean so much to me. Today I am back with a design team card for RAM Stamps using products from the adorable April release. The release is called “Happy Birthday Creator” and what a clever set of digital products it is. There is a mixture of balloons, numbers, critters etc along with a set of pattern papers. This really is a set of products that you will use in so many different ways – I’m already thinking of using the numbers for New Year cards. So if you are looking for a versatile stamps et, this is one to look at! Let’s get started on with today’s card……
All of the elements in this stamp set are separate, so I started of by moving images around to create a scene. I started of with the little girl and added balloons and flowers, then resized the sentiment to fit and lastly added the butterfly and hearts. It is very simple to move the digital images around and overlap them correctly, however if this is new to you, please let me know and I will happily show you how to do it.
Once the scene was created I printed the image onto Neenah 80lb cardstock and coloured with Copic markers. Once dry, I added a few white gel pen highlights. For this card I chose to stick with three colour families – pink, teal and green. Here are the colour combinations I used –
R89, 85, 83, 81, 30, BG15, 23, 10, YG03, 01, 17, G00, 000, 0000, E57, 55, 53, 51, 21, 00, 000.
I then die cut the panel using the My Favorite Things Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-Namics. To finish the card I added this panel to a soft pink card base using foam tape.
That completes the card for today. Make sure you head over to the RAM Stamps website to check out the whole new release, there really is something for everyone.
Thanks again for visiting….. xx
