Hi everyone! Once again I had so much fun digitally creating a card design with the new release! This one is all about Year of the Dragon, which was also in the year I was born in. I couldn’t just pick 1 design to work with, so I created this card with 3 out of the 5 of the designs.
First I created a design with the Year of the Dragon pattern paper and Year of the Dragon digital stamp set. Normally I work with Procreate on the iPad to create design, but this time I used Canva. This is a free tool you can use in the web, and a good alternative if you don’t have an iPad. The design I printed out on Perfect Colouring paper. After printing, I colored the image with my Copic markers:
- Dragon: BG53, B00, B000, BV02, BV00, BV0000
- Branch: E70, E71, E74, E25
- Fire: YR12, Y11
After coloring I added a few highlights to the eyes with a white gel pen.
