Australian Birds by Miriam

Hi everyone. I am so pleased to be back for day 2 of the RAM Stamps new release. Did you get a chance to have check out the release over the RAM Stamps website? If not, I encourage you to have a look – it’s juts the cutest!! Today I am using the Australian Birds stamp and the Mini Stars Patterned Paper. I love this image – I live with over 500 acres of bushland right over my back fence, so it’s not at all unusual to see these bird friends sitting in my garden or on my fence! So let’s get started on today’s card.

I started off my creating a pink card base to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then printed the patterned paper and die cut it using a stitched rectangle die. I glued these two together and moved onto the image.

I printed the image using my regular Pixma printer onto 80lb white cardstock. I did some simple colouring using Copic markers and left the background plain. I didn’t want to overshadow the simplicity of the image – that’s one of the reasons it’s so beautiful. For this image I used the following colour combinations –

R85, 83, 82, BG45, 23, Y00, E55, 53, 51, 50, 44, 43, 42, 41

I then die cut the image using a smaller stitched rectangle die and glued it to the base. That completes the card for today, super fast, super simple but still super sweet. I hope you love this card as much as I do and that you will be able to find some crafty time in your day today.

Thanks again for visiting xx
