Christmas Noel by Miriam

Hi crafty friends, I am back again today with another design team post for the RAM Stamps new release – Christmas in July. Have you been over to the website to look at the new release? If you haven’t I encourage you too, it’s so sweet. Today’s card includes the Christmas in July Santa and what’s Christmas without Santa, right?? So let’s get started on today’s card…..

I started off by getting all of the card base and box made first. I created a 4.25 x 5.5 inches card base with 80lb white cardstock. I then cut a 4 x 5.25 inch panel and ink blended Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink over the whole panel. Once dry I sprayed the entire panel with shimmer spray. Once this was completely dry I added white Nuvo drops. I set this aside to dry. I used the Mama Elephant Display A Card die. I die cut it twice in Summer Splash cardstock from MFT Stamps and glued it together to create the concertina frame. I glued the snow panel to the card base and then added the frame on the top of that.

I then moved on to the image. I printed the image on Pixma printer onto 80lb Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copic markers. For this card I have used –

R39, 29, 27, 24, 14, 32, 30, 20. BG49, 45, 01, 000. C6,4,2,0,00. T9. W6, 4, 2, 0. E57, 55, 50, 21, 000.

I added white highlights using a Gelly Roller pen and fussy cut the image, making sure to leave a section of cardstock at the bottom of the image. I then glued the excess section of cardstock to the inside of the frame.

That completes the card for today, make sure to head over to the RAM Stamps website to check out the rest of the new release. I’ll be back with another card from the new release tomorrow.

Thanks again for visiting x
