Hello, fellow card makers!! I am super excited to tell you that I have recently joined the Rachelle Anne Miller design team!! I’ve adored Rachelle’s illustrations for longer than I can remember, so I am thrilled to be working with her and her talented group of designers!!

I have a sneak peek to share of the July Release!! All four digital stamps will be available for purchase tomorrow, July 8th!! You can order, download straight to your computer and print them out!! How’s that for instant satisfaction?!? (The links will be live once the release is available.)

All four of the new release images are so adorable, I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to work with. I finally decided on the Animal Train!! Let’s get to my project!!

When you order a digital from Rachelle Anne Miller, you get a black outline and a lighter outline for no-line coloring. I opted for the black outline for the Animal Train image. After printing it on white cardstock, I pulled out my Copics. The hardest part for me was deciding on the colors to use! In the end, I settled on primary colors…I thought this would be perfect for a little boy’s birthday!!

Here are the Copic colors that I used. Train: R27, R17, R14, B04, B02, B01, B00, W3, W1, W0, C5, C3, C1, C0, C00; conductor: same reds and blues as the train, E13, E11, E02, E00, E37, E35, E33, E31; monkey: E37, E35, E34, E31; giraffe: YR24, Y08, Y02, E53, E33, E31; bear: E47, E43, E42, E41; ground: N5, N3, N1, N0, 0; clouds: B00, B000, B0000; rosy cheeks: R22, R21. Whew! I think it would have been easier to list the colors that I didn’t use…lol!!

Once the coloring was finished, I trimmed the panel slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to an A2 size blue cardstock panel, then a white, top-folding card base. The sentiment is from the Honey Bee Bitty Buzzwords Stamp Set & Honey Cuts. I added a few red clay hearts to fill the void between the sentiment and the critters. I also added a few highlights with a white gel pen and accented the eyes with a black glaze pen to finish it off!!

I just love this image!! It would also be great for a new baby!! The other three images are just as adorable as this one, so be sure to visit the Rachelle Anne Miller Blog and @rachelleannemiller on IG to see more sneak peeks!! Be sure to scroll down to the post to enter to win all four images in this release!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day!!
