Penguin & Snowman: From All of Us

Hello crafty friends, welcome back and thank you once again for visiting my card corner. Today I am featuring the Snowman & Penguin: From All Of Us digital stamp as day 3 of the RAM Stamps new release for November. If you haven’t already started your Christmas cards and crafts, now is the time and I encourage you to check out this new release of digital stamps and gorgeous, soft patterned papers, So let’s get started on today’s card.

Today I have made a very clean and simple card, with plenty of white space. Sometimes it’s perfect to have plenty of detail and sometimes clean and simple is equally perfect, right? I created a top folding card base from 110lb Neenah cardstock measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches and then trimmed a panel of 80lb cardstock slightly smaller, 4 x 5.25 inches. I die cut the beautiful Winter Wonderland Window die from Lawn Fawn on the panel.

I then moved onto the images. I printed the Snowman & Penguin: From All Of Us image using my normal home printer, I use the Canon Pixma (you don’t need a fancy printer to use digital stamps). and trimmed the panel to 4 x 5.25 inches, to match the die cut panel. I also printed a couple of small birds from another RAM stamp, which I fussy cut once they were coloured.

I coloured the images using Copic markers. For today’s card, I used the following colour combinations – BV13, 02, 00, R85, 83, 81, 30, YG07, 23, 03, 01, W01, 0, 00, Y000, 15, 13, C9, 7, 5, E44, 43, 42, 41, YR07, 04, C0, 00. I ink blended some Distress Oxide Shaded Lilac at the bottom of the image, fading to white.

Lastly, I glued the two panels together and then to the card base with foam tape for a bit of height and dimension and added the birds to the top corner.

That completes the card for today, I hope you are enjoying seeing this release. I hope your Christmas crafting is going well.

Thanks again for visiting… xxx
