Hey friends, how are you? I thought I’d share another Halloween card that I made with this month’s RAM Stamps release. I love a good box card, so I decided to combine a couple of digital stamps to create my 3D scene.
I coloured up the Halloween Owl stamp, and the new Trick or Treat Mouse stamp, using my Copic Markers, and added white gel pen accents. I fussy cut the images with my spring-assisted scissors (great for fussy cutting) and set them aside.
Next, I created my box card using Heffy Doodle’s 3D box card dies, which I die cut from Concord & 9th’s black cardstock. I also die cut a starry sky background using the stitched background panel, as well as two stitched side panels, from a patterned paper pad from my stash, and adhered them in place. I then used the same background die to cut a panel for the reverse of the card, out of the Happy Halloween digital papers (which are part of the new RAM Stamps release).
For my sentiment, I die cut a slim stitched panel (again from the Heffy Doodle set) out of another of the Happy Halloween digital papers, and stamped “For my sentiment, I die cut a slim stitched panel (again from the Heffy Doodle set) out of another of the Happy Halloween digital papers, and stamped “happy Halloween”. If you don’t have a set of essential all-occasion sentiments, I’d highly recommend grabbing one! The set I used was from Clearly Besotted, but I also have some great ones from MFT Stamps.
I glued all of my elements in place with liquid glue, and for the bats, I added them to a slim strip of acetate, to give the illusion that they are flying around in the background.
Thanks again for joining me today – I’d love to see what Halloween projects you create!
