Hi everyone! I am back with a mini slimline card featuring You Can Do It from Rachelle Anne Miller. I love this sweet image so much!
Printing and coloring
I used Adobe Photoshop to size my image so it would fit the mini slimline panel size I was going to use. When I was happy with the size, I loaded Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper into my laser printer and printed out the image. I haven’t used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in a long time, so I pulled them out to color this image. I used the following colors to color the image:
Parachute: Peach Pink (202), Pink Haze (201)
Skin: Flesh Color (71), Oatmeal (64)
Hair: Beige (72)
Dress/Shoes: Lilac (83)
Backpack/Goggles/Stockings: Light Blue (36)
Creating the background
Once I was done coloring, I placed one of the smaller rectangle dies from Pinkfresh Studio’s Mini Slimline Essential Bundle over the image, and ran everything through my die cutting machine. Then, I printed the image onto some masking paper and fussy cut it out. I placed the masking paper over the image and used Distress Oxide in Salty Ocean over Lawn Fawn’s Cloudy Stencil to make a cloud background.
Finishing the card
I used the diagonal stitched rectangle from Pinkfresh Studio Mini Slimline Essntial Bundle over a piece of white card stock to cut a stitched rectangle panel, and I glued the colored panel onto it. I glued the card panel onto a side folding card base to finish the card.
This is such an adorable image and perfect for a motivational card! Hope you like my card! Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
