Hello crafty friends and thank you once again for visiting my blog – I appreciate every one of you that stop by. Well it’s new release day at RAM Stamps and what a fantastic release it is……… It’s Christmas in July!!!!! I love Christmas, so a Christmas in July is right up my street. The new release is just perfect and I look forward to sharing some projects with you over the next few days. So for card number one – let’s get started……
For this card I created a mini slimline card with a card base that measures 3 x 6 inches. I made this using Summer Splash cardstock from MFT Stamps. I then trimmed a panel of white cardstock to measure slightly smaller and adhered it with liquid glue.
I moved on to the image. Firstly I edited the image in Word and printed on to 80lb Neenah white cardstock. I then coloured with Copic markers and once dry, I added white gel pen highlights. For this card I have used the following Copic colour combinations –
E44, E43, E42, E41, R85, R83, R81, R30, YR07, YR04, BG78, BG75, BG72, BG70, C2, C0, C00.
Once everything was coloured, I created the background using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and RV00, RV000 Copic markers. I added white gel pen snow drops.
I then die cut the image using the Stitched Mini Slimline Die-Namics from MFT Stamps and glued to the card base. That completes the card for today – clean and simple but oh so sweet! I hope you like today’s card and I wish you a Merry Christmas in July!!!
