Christmas Peace by Jayne

Hey friends, how are you? Have you been enjoying Christmas in July? I’ve loved getting organised in good time! Today, I’m sharing my final Christmas in July card, featuring the Christmas Peace stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller.

After printing off my image, I masked it off using Masking Fluid, and then created my watercolour background. I applied Karin markers directly to my glass craft mat, then picked up the colour with a wet paintbrush, and applied it to the background. The colours I used were Arctic Blue, Sky Blue, Royal Blue and Black.

I then removed the masking fluid and coloured the image using Copics in the following colours:

Hair – E35, E33, E31

Skin: E53, E51, E50, R20

Wings – BG000

Dress: B95, B93, B91

Peace: Y11, Y000

I trimmed the background down with my rectangle dies, then added it to an A2 white card base using craft foam.

To finish the card, I coloured the halo with gold pen and added white gel pen accents to the angel.

Thanks for joining me again today, I really appreciate you being here!
