Hi everyone! Aren’t these cats the cutest?! As a cat lover, this is my favorite digi stamp of the new release from Rachelle Anne Miller, which will be available on September 16th. This digi is called Halloween Cats, for which I did some no-line coloring. Did you already know the digi stamps include a black and no-line version?
I printed the Halloween Cats digi on Perfect Colouring paper and colored it with my Copic markers:
- Cats: E49, E77, E75, E73, E71, R22, R30
- Hat: V15, V12, V01, RV000
- Pumpkins: YR27, YR18, YR15, YR21, YR20
- Greens: BG96, BG93, YG93, YG91, YG61
- Ground: W2, W0, YG91, YR20, BG93
With Polychromos colored pencils I added some small details, like the little swirls you see here and there. This wouldn’t be possible to draw with Copic markers. I also added shadows underneath the leaves with a warm grey colored pencil.
To get the stitching detail, I used the Stitched Rectangles STAX Set 1 from MFT. On the cardbase I adhered Halloween pattern paper from Isabel Cristina. From the start I knew I wanted to use this paper, so I made sure my Copic markers matched with the paper. The Tabhita stamp set from Hello Bluebird had the purrfect sentiment for this card, which I stamped with MFT Extreme Black ink.
