Hey friends, how are you? I hope you’ve had a lovely Christmas. My girls were well and truly spoiled by our family and friends, so we’re definitely in need of some thank you cards!
This card is for the girls’ aunty, who bought them each a Mama Surprise Guinea pig toy that they’ve wanted for months! You look after the Guinea pig and it then has 3 babies…. oh my goodness, the excitement from the girls has been unreal!
So, this Little Guineas image from RAM Stamps was absolutely perfect! I coloured it up using the following Copics:
Mama pig: E09, YR27, YR24.
Baby pig (left): YR24, YR20, YR000.
Baby pig (middle): E55, E51
Baby pig (right): E09, YR27, YR24, YR20, YR000
All cheeks: RV11
All shading: C3, C1, C0
Flowers: RV13, RV11
Stones: E44, E43, E42, E41
Caterpillar: C3, C1
I then die cut the image with MFT’s Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies, and added it to an A2 card base with foam tape.
For the sentiment, I die cut Simon Says Stamp’s “thank you” (only the words, not the shadow) from C9 black cardstock. I diecut two and glued them together for dimension, then trimmed the “k” a little and glued them to the card with liquid glue.
Finally, I added some glossy accents to the die for a little bit of shine.
