Hi everyone! Today’s card is very heavy on the Copic coloring. When I saw the Oh Christmas Tree image, I was inspired to create an indoor scene with snowy windows. I think I could have gone heavier on the blue in the windows to make the snow more apparent, but that is something for next time. I love the little kitty ‘helping’ with decorating the tree!
First I printed the Oh Christmas Tree on Perfect Colouring paper. If you would like to know how I resize digital stamps and create scenes, you can watch this video on my YouTube channel. After printing, I colored the image with my Copic markers:
- Skin: E11, E00, E000, R30
- Hair: E59, E57, E35
- Clothes: Y13, Y11, r29, R24, R22, R20, YG67, YG17, YG61
- Tree: Y18, Y13, Y11, R24, R22, R20, YG61, YG63, YG17,
- Background: B95, B97
- Floor: BG72, W4, W2, W0
- Windows: B00, B000, BG11, C1, E57, E35
It is very hard to see and capture in the photo, but I added Stickles Frosted Glace to the white ornaments in the tree. On the snowy parts in the window, I added shimmer with a Sparkle Clear Overlay pen.
The sentiment I is from Deliver Lots of Cheer, which I stamped with VersaMark ink. I coated it in white embossing powder and heat set it.
I hope you like this card, and it gave you inspiration. Thank you for stopping by and see you next time!
