Peekaboo Raccoons by Miriam

Hi friends and thank you for stopping by my card corner, it’s great to have you here once again. It’s day three of the RAM Stamps new release and we are continuing with the spooky theme of Halloween – although it is a cute kind of Halloween!! Today I am featuring the Peekaboo Raccoons digital stamp. I am loving these little raccoons. Let’s get started……

As always, I started by getting the card base and all of the panels ready. The card base measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches and is made using Orange Zest cardstock from My Favorite Things. The panels are made from white 80lb cardstock and Grape Jelly cardstock, also from My Favorite Things. The final white panel was die cut using a stitched rectangle die. I adhered all of the panels together.

I then trimmed a piece of Grape Jelly cardstock and embossed using an embossing folder from Spellbinders and then die cut edges from Grapesicle cardstock from My Favorite Things using a scalloped border die. I then glued these to the card base. I then stamped the sentiment in place.

I moved on to the Peekaboo Raccoons image. I printed the image using my Pixma printer and coloured with Copic markers. Once dry, I added white gel pen highlights and then fussy cut and added it to the card base. For this image I have used –

YR09, 07, 04, 02, T9, YG07, C6, 4, 2, 0.

That completes the card for today. Today’s card was simple and quick to put together – card making doesn’t have to be complicated and use a heap of supplies. I hope you might be inspired to get crafty some time soon.

Thanks again for visiting….. xx
