When I joined the Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps design team, I was so excited to get my profile illustration. It’s such a lovely idea and a fun change from photos of the team.

Exciting news is that all the profile illustrations are now available to purchase as digital stamps! There are 27 to choose from, so lots of options to find one that best represents you or someone you know. There is also an option for a custom profile digital stamp.

For my project, I created a round picture frame style card.

I began by printing the image at 60% size, with 50% opacity. I then coloured the image with Faber Castell colouring pencils.

I use a Lawn Fawn die to add some circle stitching detail, then die cut the image with a larger circle. I also added two more layers behind for dimension.

To create my circle card base, I ran a folded card base through my die cut machine with a large circle die. Position the top of the die just above the score line to get a circle card. I used a metal shim to add enough pressure to cut through the folded card base. I adhered the layers together to finish.

To help the card base stand up, use a trimmer to cut away a small straight edge at the back of the card base.

I cut the same size circle as the card base and added some woodgrain embossing detail with a 3D embossing folder. This circle hides the scored edge and gives a full circle look.

I’ve added links below to the profile stamps.
