Safari Friends by Miriam

HI crafty friends, it’s great to see you here once again. Thank you for visiting and for the support you show me and my little card corner. So I am back again with day 4 of the RAM Stamps new release and today we have a bunch of jungle friends together on one card. Let’s get started……

As this card involves a lot of die cutting, I got started there. Firstly, I die cut all the base layers of the My Favorite Things Outside The Box Level Up Die-Namics in Sour Apple cardstock, then the top layers in white cardstock. I stencilled a cloud scene on to the white backing piece in Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and then glued all the pieces together. I then die cut the Outside The Box Grassy Hills Die-Namics in Sour Apple cardstock and splattered them with green liquid paint. Once dry, I glued them into place and then the structure of the card was complete.

I combined the new release stamps with some existing stamps to create this card. From the new release I used Tiny Wonders and Wild Side and from the existing stamps I have used Monkey Love, Dream Big and Owl Find You. I printed all the images and did some crafty surgery where needed, by removing the heart from the monkey’s hand, separating the giraffe and elephant on the Tiny Wonders stamp and trimming out branches from the Owl Find You stamp.

I then coloured all the images using Copic markers and added white gel pen highlights. I have used the following Copic combinations for this card –

YG07, YG01, R30, E44, E43, E42, E41, E57, E55, E53, YR16, YR12, Y38, Y35, Y15, W6, W4, W2, W0, W00.

I fussy cut all of the images and glued them onto the card. I then trimmed the sentiment from the Wild Side stamp and glued to the front panel and that completes the card for today.

Thanks again for stopping by xx
