Snail Mail by Tinne

Hi everyone! Today we are celebrating a new release at Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps! And for this release I used the super cute Snail Mail digital stamp. Here's the card I made:

I always start with cutting out and colouring my stamps. Normally I use my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my stamps, but one of the cables broke (due to old age...), so I had to fussy cut my images. And I hate that! My husband ordered a new cable. Hopefully it will fit my Silhouette and I'll be able to use it again soon! Fingers crossed!

These are the Copic combinations I used to colour the images:

  • Body snails: E33, E31, E30, E00
  • Blush: R32, R30
  • Snail shell: R59, R56, R85, R21, R20, R01, R00
  • Hearts: R56, R85, R21, R20, R01, R00
  • Flower: R56, R85, R00

I cut a base rectangle with stitched edges out of white cardstock, and I also did that with one of the papers from the new Lovebugs paper pack. I cut a piece of 7 cm from the patterned paper, and glued it on the top of the white base. Next I stamped the sentiment with black hybrid ink. Once drie, I glued the panel on a white base card.

I cut a grass border out of white cardstock, and put some foam tape behind it. I glued this on the bottom of the pattern paper piece.

The coloured images were also glued in place using foam tape.

Last but not least, I cut out some clouds and glued them on my card. This really completes the scene.

Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures from the creative process. But I did make a reel, so you can check that out very soon on my Instagram page.

I hope the end result inspires you!

Big hug,

Tinne
