Hi there!
Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of a new Digital Stamp called Holiday Birds, one of my favorite illustrations from the upcoming Rachelle Anne Miller November Release.
I started to work on this card by printing the adorable Holiday Birds image with my inkjet printer on Copic friendly paper. I resized it a bit, before printing it, to better fit my card front. Once the stamped image dried, I colored it with Copic Markers and carefully fussy cut it using my precision scissors.
Working with digital stamps is fun and so easy! Once purchased, you will receive or download the black and white digital image (a high-resolution PNG) immediately. Then you can resize or flip the image before printing it out on your favorite card stock and start creating!
Next, I ink blended some pink ink on a white card stock panel, creating a smooth gradient, and foam mounted it behind a scalloped frame adding a vellum layer in between, to soften the background colors a bit. I also added some white splatters on it, to create extra interest on my card and recall a snowfall.
Then, I added the lovely birds and adhered the die cut frame on a card front.
Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a strip of kraft card stock and added it on my card, completing my adorable winter scene.
