Hi everyone! This dragon is so cute and perfect for a new baby card! He looks like he is ready to begin his adventures with his little bird buddy.
First I created a design with the Year of the Dragon digital stamp set. Normally I work with Procreate on the iPad to create design, but this time I used Canva. This is a free tool you can use in the web, and a good alternative if you don’t have an iPad. The design I printed out on Perfect Colouring paper. After printing, I colored the image with my Copic markers:
- BG70, BG10, BG11, BG72
- B91, B93, B95
- RV91, RV93, RV95
- BV20, BV23
After coloring I added a few highlights with a white gel pen. The scene I cut in a banner/flag shape and adhered it with foam tape on pattern paper which matched nicely with the colors used for the dragon.
