It’s Day 1 of sneak peeks for the Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios September digital stamp release!! My sneak today features the irresistible Snail Friend digi!! The release will be available for purchase on Thursday, September 16th!!
How cute is this pair of friends? I resized the no-line version of the image in Photoshop & printed it out on white cardstock. I used the following colors of Copic markers to color the image:
- Flower: R85, R83, R81, RV11, RV00, Y17, Y08, Y02, V15, V12, G05, G14, YG41
- Caterpillar: G94, YG63, G43, YG61, E35, E34, E33, E31, E41
- Ladybug: R24, R14, R21, C5, C3, C1, C0
- Raindrops: B00, B000, B0000
I added the facial details and antennae back in with a black Copic multi-liner and a few highlights with a white gel pen.
I die-cut the panel with a rectangle die and trimmed a panel of pink cardstock to be just slightly larger, then adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. “Friend” was die-cut once from pink cardstock and twice from white cardstock. They were layered and adhered together for dimension. “I’m here for you” was stamped onto the front of the card with pink ink and the die-cut sentiment was adhered right above it. I thought this sentiment fit perfectly with this sweet little scene!!
